The other guests began to say among themselves, "Who is this who even forgives sins?"
Luke 7:49 (NIV)
Who is this, who even wipes away every tear and counts them?
Who is this, who sees me in my valley and extends out His hand to pull me up to the mountaintop?
Who is this, who was hated by many, loved by few and justified all?
Who is this, who with the shed of His blood, wiped my slate clean?
Who is this, who not only showed the greatest act of love, but is actually love Himself?
Who is this, that no matter the countless mess ups, errors, and sins I commit, He still calls me worthy to be a daughter?
Who is this, who even forgives my sins?
He is the I AM,
He is Elohim, my creator
He is El Shaddai, God almighty
He is El Roi, the God who sees
He is El Olam, the everlasting God
He is El Elyon, the God Most High
He is YHWH, the self-existent one
He is Jehovah Raah, our Shepherd
He is Jehovah Rapha, my healer
He is Jehovah Shalom, the Lord my peace
He is Jehovah Jireh, my provider
He is Christ the Messiah, the anointed One
He is the Alpha and Omega, He existed before time and He will exist after it
He is my Savior, my Redeemer, my Deliverer, the rescuer of my soul, healer of my heart, and my first love
He is God. He is Jesus. He is the Holy Spirit.
And out of all the things that He is, what means the most is that He is Abba, my Father.

My friend Sasha sent me this poem that she wrote not too long ago and I think it is wonderful!
So many people really do ask "Who is He?" when referring to Jesus. I sometimes find myself asking the same question. When it comes to answering this question, oftentimes, I am stumped. Sasha's poem has helped to remind myself of who Jesus is and why He is so important to me and my life. He is the reason I am who I am, He is my purpose, and He loves me! He loves YOU!
With Love!
